Frequently asked

Will the text be editable in PowerPoint?

Not as text — each slide is a high-resolution image of the original PDF page. You get pixel-perfect fidelity, but you can't click into a paragraph and retype it. For text-editable PowerPoints from scratch, you'd need to rebuild the deck manually; for most users 'I just need a deck I can present and annotate' is the real need.

What about the slide size?

The slide dimensions match your PDF's first page proportions — so an A4-shaped PDF gives you A4-shaped slides, not a standard 16:9 widescreen. This keeps everything pixel-perfect at any zoom.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Yes. Because we render each page as an image, scans work just like any other PDF. The PowerPoint slides will look identical to the scan.

Can I add my own text over the slides?

Absolutely. Open the resulting .pptx and drop text boxes, shapes, arrows, animations — anything PowerPoint can do — on top of each slide. This is the main reason people convert PDF to PPTX.

Is my file private?

Files are encrypted in transit, processed on our servers, and auto-deleted within 1 hour. We never train AI on your documents.
